This formal/black tie optional event is the culmination of agency Hispanic Heritage Month activities and is the LACC's largest fundraising event. During the Gala the agency celebrates its accomplishments and recognizes community leaders and partners that have made significant contributions to LACC and Delaware's Latino community. All proceeds benefit LACC lifelong learning programs which serve children ages 6 weeks to 18 years old. This includes our 3 Early Learning Centers, Before and After School Community Learning Centers, Summer Camp, the Youth Achievement Center, High School Credit Recovery, and the Minerva Marrero Hispanic Scholarship Program.
This year the theme of the Grand Ball is Casino Night and will take place on Saturday, September 27th from 6pm to 12am at Deerfield Golf Club. The event will include cocktail hour with open bar, two hours of casino game play, a plated dinner, an award ceremony, and dancing. Tickets can be purchased online or by mailing a check to the Latin American Community Center at 403 North Van Buren Street Wilmington, DE 19805
