Penn State Master Watershed Steward Program

Learn about recent conservation projects here in upper Bucks County, and how you can become involved in local environmental resource efforts! There are over 1,100 Master Watershed Steward volunteers working in communities across Pennsylvania to improve the health of streams, rivers, and other natural resources. The Master Watershed Steward program is open to people of all skills and abilities; no prior watershed knowledge, experience, or training is required to take the Master Watershed Steward basic training course.

This lecture is presented by Rebecca Hayden. She is the President of the Watershed Coalition of the Lehigh Valley and helped to form the MWS program over ten years ago. Kristen Elder is the Board Chair of the Tohickon Watershed Association.
