Deck the Halls with Boughs and Blooms: A Holiday Centerpiece Workshop

Thursday, December 17th from 5:30pm-7:30pm

Join us for a festive Holiday Centerpiece Workshop with friends! Enjoy an evening of creativity as you learn to design your own beautiful centerpiece using fresh, locally sourced greenery, blooms, and decorative accents. Whether you’re crafting a piece for your own home or creating a heartfelt gift, this workshop is perfect for all skill levels—no experience needed. Wine and charcuterie will be provided for a cozy, celebratory atmosphere. We can’t wait to create something beautiful with you!

This program will be led by Hannah Ashton, Landscape Director.

Please bring your own container and pruners if you have them.

Container Guidelines

Choose a vessel suitable for a centerpiece—low, long, watertight, and sturdy, ideally not glass.

  • Height: 5 inches or less

  • Length: 12 inches or less

Great options include:

  • Low bowls

  • Ceramic or metal containers

  • Rustic baskets with a plastic liner

  • Wooden boxes with a waterproof insert

  • Shallow vases or compotes

Please avoid containers that are too tall, narrow, transparent, or lightweight, as they can be difficult to design in and may not support your arrangement.

Price: Members: $55; Non-Members: $65.

Reservations are required. Register online or email or call the office: info@thefells.org, 603-763-4789 x3. This will take place in the Gatehouse Classroom. Space is limited to 12 people.

Please note: in an effort to be more eco-conscious, we will be creating floral foam-free arrangements at this event.
