About This Event

The Guam Society of America will hold it's Annual Cherry Blossom Coronation Ball on Saturday March 28, 2026. This signature semi-formal event serves to commemorate the crowning of our 2026 Cherry Blossom Princess, Kiana Ha'ane Rosario Williams and our 2026 Junior Princess, Kailani Rose Castro.

Introducing your 2026 GSA Cherry Blossom Princess

Kiana Ha'ane Rosario Williams is the daughter Joseph H. Williams Jr. and the late Elizabeth Marie Rosario Williams and granddaughter of the late Jesus "Chu" Rosario (Familian Dadu) and Guam Society Honorary/Manaina Member and Past Guam Society Secretary, Annie Nauta Rosario (Familian Inchik).  Kiana resides in Abingdon, MD and is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration at Harford Community College, preparing for her Accounting certification.  As a Guam Society member since birth, she has spent her life participating and volunteering at numerous events.  Kiana has a life-long passion for cultural dance and has taken on a leadership role as an active member of Håle' Para Agupa' (HPA), currently co-leading the HPA Bailan CHamoru program.  Kiana is dedicating her term as the Guam Society Cherry Blossom Princess to her beloved mother, Elizabeth, who continues to guide and inspire her love for her culture every day. She hopes to serve with grace, celebrate our heritage, and uplift others in a way that reflects the values our Chamoru community instilled in her.

And your 2026 GSA Jr. Cherry Blossom Princess:

Kailani Rose Castro is the daughter of Amanda and Victor Castro and granddaughter of longtime Guam Society Honorary/Manaina members Frank & Rosanne Mantanona.  Kailani is 7 years old, with a heart full of curiosity and joy. She loves playing soccer, arts & crafts, spending time with her little sisters, and diving into the world of Pokémon. Though she can be a bit shy, she shines through dancing and singing, especially when she’s having fun. She finds happiness at both the beach and in the snow, always ready for a new adventure. Proud of her roots from Guam and El Salvador, she is growing up in Virginia with a love for learning, kindness, and big dreams.

As the first major event of our 2026 calendar year, the evening will feature dinner and dancing in support of the Princess Program. Guests will enjoy a buffet dinner, refreshments, a cash bar, and entertainment provided by MC & DJ Ray, including Ray’s Magic Mirror Booth. We are also pleased to annouce our keynote speakers for the event: Seattle Seahawks dancer Bailey Concepcion and Philadelphia Eagles cheerleader Hanna Sahagon—two National Football League (NFL) professionals who are proud daughters of Guam. The festivities will also include a 50/50 raffle and various door prizes.

Tickets are available for purchase NOW, please note that the deadline to secure your tickets is March 21st. We encourage all attendees to join or renew their Guam Society membership to take advantage of discounted pricing; please be aware that membership status will be verified following your purchase.
