Angelico Project’s Sacred Arts Guild will be hosting a two day workshop on Sacred Linens on September 26th from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and September 27th from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM. This workshop will be held in the undercroft of St. Jude’s Church, 5924 Bridgetown Rd. Cincinnati, OH. 

Saturday’s workshop will begin with an 8:00 AM Mass. Participants may opt to attend the 5:00 PM Vigil Mass for Sunday or choose another Mass that fits the workshop schedule.

This workshop will be run by St. Martha’s Guild seamstress and instructor Julie Streeter who will teach participants the sacred art of sewing the linens used at Mass as well as how to care for them in a parish.  

Participants should have good skill at sewing and be able to come both days with his/her own sewing machine and sewing tools, if possible. A complete list of suggested materials that each participant should bring will be emailed before the beginning of the workshop.  Space is limited to 20. 

Participants will create a set of linens ready to be used at Mass as well as a small altar cloth. 

Provided: Linen, handouts, light breakfast, lunch, and hands-on demonstrations.
