Help Evolve Environmental Education

Help us expand our educational programs so we can introduce more students and residents to nature. Our programs at PERT teach that we must respect the many roles nature plays in keeping this planet habitable, and we have the perfect space and people to demonstrate these lessons. You can help us introduce the next generation to nature and show them ways to be more in synch with it.

For decades we’ve been planting and maintaining native trees and flowers to preserve vital connections between soils, plants, insects, birds and other animals. Our guided hikes tell the story in detail. Our forests, rimmed with new trees, tended by staff and volunteers, demonstrate what it takes to keep urban food webs functioning. Volunteer efforts build community and give our neighbors the understanding to make changes in their own back yards. Our outreach brings together townships, clubs, and school districts around a shared vision of nature and conservation; only with their help can we impact the wider watershed.

Help to continue the evolution of the Pennypack Trust's educational programming by making your year-end gift today.
