We are so excited to invite our community to join us for our 7th Annual Night of Comedy and Community. This proceeds of this event will fund Horizons at The Ethel Walker School's programming.

Horizons ultimately aims to tighten the opportunity gap by providing empowering educational, extracurricular, and "social and emotional" programming to girls attending Hartford Public Schools who qualify for federal free or reduced-priced lunch.

With a longstanding national reputation, Horizons National reports that over the average 6 week summer period, our students achieve 2 to 3 months of progress in reading and math. Our national data also shows that 94% of Horizons students go to college or other post-secondary training.

Horizons at The Ethel Walker School, celebrating its seventh year collaborating with Horizons National and The Ethel Walker School, is honoring our first cohort of radiant leaders who will be graduating the Horizons program in its totality, from kindergarten through 8th grade, and entering high school. This year we are commited to expanding our programming for our radiant leaders and look forward to fostering a relationship with them as they transition into young adulthood.

Horizons is in it for the long haul. As we work to expand our high school programming and continue to empower our pre-k through 8th grade students, we come together and ask for the support of our community. It takes a village to tend to the garden that is the developing young mind. We invite you to join us in celebrating the power of this village and the power of our students by attending our 7th Annual Night of Comedy & Community!

Horizons would like to offer a huge thanks to our current sponsors!
