HBCU Experience | Sponsor Overview

Thank you for your interest in sponsoring EN-RICH-MENT’s HBCU Experience, a four-day cultural immersion that celebrates the legacy, artistry, and community of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Intentionally designed to inspire local youth to envision themselves attending and thriving at HBCUs, this event will bring alumni instructors from multiple HBCU colleges to Canton, Ohio. 

From Wednesday, April 22 through Saturday, April 25, students, alumni, artists, and community members will gather for a dynamic series of events designed to connect young people to HBCU culture, academic pathways, and creative excellence through food, music, dance, and education.

  • Culinary & Cultural Kickoff (Wednesday, April 22): A featured HBCU-inspired culinary experience led by an Atlanta-based chef, creating an inviting introduction to HBCU culture and community.
  • Performance & Practice (Thursday, April 23): Evening rehearsals, interactive dance experiences, and meet-and-greet opportunities with EN-CORPS members, emphasizing mentorship and peer connection.
  • Education & Exposure (Friday, April 24): School visits and a Hall of Fame experience designed to spark curiosity, pride, and aspiration around HBCU history and higher education opportunities.
  • Community Celebration (Friday, April 24): A high-energy, block-party–style event featuring a live DJ, food, line dancing, drumline and percussion performances, dancers, flaggers, guest showcases, and EN-RICH-MENT’s EN-CORPS—bringing HBCU spirit to the broader community.
  • Clinics & Workshops (Saturday, April 25): Hands-on clinics in percussion, cymbals, dance, and flag, plus showcases and Q&A sessions that build skills, confidence, and pathways to continued involvement in HBCU-style programs.
