About This Event
As Utah considers expanding its role in the nuclear industry, communities deserve the opportunity to be part of the conversation. Not just in a checkbox format, but with meaningful conversations and opportunities to say no or develop community benefits.
Join HEAL Utah for a community conversation to discuss what nuclear development could mean for our state and your community, exploring both the potential benefits and the concerns. Together, we'll examine your questions around costs, jobs, energy needs, public health, long-term radioactive waste management, transparency, emergency preparedness, and meaningful public participation. Whether you support nuclear development, have concerns or ideas on how to develop strong community benefits, or are still undecided, this is an opportunity to share your perspective, ask questions, and discuss what Utah communities want to see as decisions about our energy future are made.
We are hoping to hear from Moab and Grand County residents.
