Brad Woodruff is a true inspiration who confronts life with unmatched courage. Despite the daily hurdles of Heart Failure, Brad and his incredible wife, Shaelin, are determined to make a difference. They have chosen to channel their strength and love into a cause that extends beyond their personal journey: the HeartBrothers Foundation.
By hosting the annual Woodruff Golf Classic, Brad and Shaelin raise funds and awareness for those bravely facing the daily challenges of Heart Failure, inspiring others to join their cause.
In its inaugural year, 2024, the Woodruff Classic raised a net total of $25,000, directly covering the rent for one HeartBrothers House unit for eight full months. This generous contribution eased Boston-area patients' financial burdens, allowing them to focus on recovery during one of life’s most challenging journeys.
In its second year, the 2025 Woodruff Golf Classic continued its momentum, raising over $23,500 to support Heart Failure patients and their families. With growing impact and community support, this annual event is quickly becoming a vital part of our mission to help patients survive—and thrive—with Heart Failure.
