The 3rd Annual Torry Island BBQ Festival is being held on Saturday, March 21st, 2026.

We are excited to announce the return of the Torry Island BBQ Showdown and Airboat Show on March 21, 2026, set against the stunning backdrop of Torry Island, Florida. Our 2025 event was a great success that raised $63,000 for local nonprofits, youth scholarships, and aVeteran's Memorial. This year, proceeds will benefit programs that serve Glades’ residents with special needs and disabilities, including vital improvements to The Arc of the Glades - a local nonprofit committed to enriching the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through advocacy, support, education, and empowerment.
For just $10, attendees can enjoy a KCBS Sanctioned BBQ Competition with over $21,000 in prize money at stake! The event will also feature an Airboat Showdown with prizes in five categories, nationally Sanctioned Cornhole tournaments, Kid's Que, Rum Tastings, Beer Trucks, Unique Vendors, Kids' Activities, live music all day, and much more!
Last year's event attracted nearly 6,000 diverse visitors and was promoted to over 3 million people across Florida, national BBQ and air boating publications, and various social media platforms. Our goal this year is to double that attendance. With post-event media coverage reaching over 10.2 million YouTube viewers, as well as local newspapers and national competition media, the impact was significant. This year, we are also adding a nationally sanctioned cornhole event to further boost our national exposure.
