NOTE: FEB 2023 BRAIN CLUB is available FREE (as per usual). Optional donations are appreciated!
We all have different brains that process information, think, learn, communicate and play differently. The Key to the Universe is to develop awareness of our own brains and the brains of other people. When we unlock this, we can create a more authentic, peaceful life. We can also connect more deeply with others, and experience genuine belonging. Brain Club is a weekly community conversation (Tuesdays 6-7PM EST) where we apply brain science to "everyday life" -- how we interact, play, work, and live.
This month's theme centers around Urgency Culture. We live in a world where there is so much pressure to do more, achieve more, be more -- and it's hurting our health, literally.
Tuesdays 6-7PM (Zoom) + recorded for later viewing -- many thanks to our friends at Orca Media!
Feb 2023 Theme: The Perils of Urgency Culture
2/7: Urgency Culture & Internalized Ableism
2/14: Urgency Culture at Home
2/21: Urgency Culture at Work
2/28: Book Chat: Brené Brown’s “I Thought It Was Just Me (But It Isn’t)”, the connection between Literacy and Relationships *Note: If you have read the book, awesome! If not, join us anyway! This is an informal conversation.
If you miss a topic you are interested in, you can still register to receive the recording for on-demand viewing.
All donations directly fund neuroinclusive programming for kids and adults (including Kids Connections virtual social connection program, free community education opportunities, and our sensory-informed COVID vaccination clinics). Tickets are available by donation In order to make Brain Club accessible to everyone regardless of their budget. If you are able to support our work, suggested donation is $10.
