Help Breezy Heal!

Meet Breezy, a very sweet BLM Mustang mare who was rescued from auction by Troublesome Horse Rescue and Wild Hearts Haven. She joined us at SVHC last fall, and her regular feed and care has been sponsored by the Silverthorne Police Department. Unfortunately Breezy slipped on the ice and fell during one of our early freezes, fracturing her hock. Since then, we have taken charge of her care and she is responding well, but the specialized treatments alone have cost more than $3,500 so far in addition to extra shavings and supplies required for Breezy’s stall.
