Proceeds benefit the Memory Care Learning Center at Heritage Community of Kalamazoo The Memory Care Learning Center is the premier Alzheimer’s and dementia education resource center in the greater Kalamazoo area. With a mission to support residents, families, and the community on their dementia journeys, we provide free programs, support groups, and other centralized resources for individuals caring for someone at home or in a senior care community.

The Memory Care Learning Center fulfills this mission through a person-centered, compassionate approach to dementia care which includes the essential elements of friendship: respect, empathy, support, trust, and humor. Together with our industry partners, training and support helps caregivers better engage someone with dementia while emphasizing dignity and compassion.
