Motorsports Summit

About This Event

Regional motorized clubs have requested that High Peaks Alliance convene another Motorsports Summit on Saturday, May 16, at the NEW Rangeley Lakes Snowmobile Clubhouse in Rangeley.

All the clubs are facing backlogs and large projects, and we want to continue bringing clubs together to solve issues. Bring your problems.

Meeting agenda

  • Trails Bond Grant Training
Learn about available funding opportunities and receive step‑by‑step guidance to help your club or group prepare competitive Trails Bond applications and stewardship plans.

  • Landowner Updates
Presentation by Brandon Cross from the State Office for Offroad Recreational Vehicles, on current landowner policies, permitting, and best practices for maintaining strong relationships and access.

  • Regional Breakout Sessions
Focused discussions tailored to local needs and priorities in:

    • Rangeley Region

    • Carrabassett Valley / Kingfield / Eustis

    • Southern Franklin

These sessions will surface shared challenges, opportunities, and coordinated strategies for trail maintenance, use, and community engagement.

Your participation makes a difference. Lunch will be provided.

Please RSVP by Friday, May 9, so we can plan accordingly.
