About This Event
Join Maine Forest Service District Forester Julie Davenport and High Peaks Alliance board member Pete McKinley for guided walks exploring tree identification, forest health, and bird habitats.
These free, family-friendly events (easy-moderate trails, ~2 hours) build practical skills while connecting forests to wildlife. Spots are limited. Registration is required.
What to Expect:
Wear solid shoes for uneven trails. In case of rain, we will email registered participants by 8 AM on the day of to notify of any cancellation.

A 200+ acre area owned by the town of Kingfield and stewarded by HPA, with two ponds, a there-and-back trail, wetlands, and a small waterfall. Learn more.
