Presented by Friends of Hopewell Valley Open Space

Herping at Woolsey Brook Park

Join Conservation Biologist Kaitlin and local community scientist David Lee for a guided walk through Woolsey Brook to learn about herpetofauna in the Valley! On this 1.5 mile walk, we will hopefully see some of the frogs, salamanders, and other wildlife that live in and around Woolsey Brook.

We will also discuss FoHVOS’s community science efforts in partnership with the HVRA to survey for uncommon salamander species, and the importance of protecting and restoring our streams to provide habitat and ensure water quality.
