History and Home Arts Workshop Series: Primitive Rug Hooking

Explore the history of primitive rug hooking through historic examples and learn how you can create your own!

Meta Van Nostran, retired Home Economics teacher and local textile historian, will lead a historical study on Tuesday, June 16th from 10:00 AM to noon. Classes to learn traditional rug hooking techniques will take place on Tuesday, June 23rd and 30th and July 7th from 10:00 AM to noon. Thanks to the support of the Athens County Foundation, all classes are free to attend and supplies are provided!
