The HMRI community is deeply saddened by the unexpected passing of longtime colleague and scientist Dr. Alfred Fonteh. Join us Tuesday, July 7, at 3 PM in Engemann Auditorium (or online via Zoom) to share memories and pay tribute to a remarkable scientist and colleague.
Dr. Fonteh dedicated 25 years of service to HMRI, contributing extensively to scientific discovery, mentorship, and the advancement of the institute’s mission as Research Professor, Clinical and Translational Neurosciences and leader of the Biomarkers Neuro-Disease Mechanism Lab (BNML).
Colleagues remember Dr. Fonteh for his insight, generosity, dedication to trainees, and enduring commitment to collaborative science. His impact on students, collaborators, and fellow researchers will continue to be felt for years to come.
