Home for the Holidays

There's something about this season that brings us back to what matters most: home. Not just a place, but the people around the table. The feeling of being known and cared for. 

At Otem Collective, we believe every child deserves that feeling and a place to call home. Across villages in Uganda, families are growing stronger so children can stay where they belong—at home, surrounded by love and belonging.

Not long ago, Dickens, a father and village leader, said his home was filled with conflict and distance. But after joining one of Otem Collective's Parent Support Groups, he began to see change. Today, his family laughs together around shared meals. "I have seen peace and unity in my home," he shares. 

This is what home looks like: parents equipped to care for their children and families standing together. And this is what we want to make possible for even more families.
