About This Webinar
Want your community planting native and restoring habitat, but not sure how to get people involved? Or maybe you've already started something and keep hitting the same walls?
This webinar is for both. Join Andrew Conboy, ISA-certified arborist and founder of the Community Canopy Project, for a look at how he's built hands-on restoration partnerships with local governments, residents, corporate volunteers, and students. Andrew will share what's worked, what hasn't, and how a small, community-centered approach can grow into something bigger, in cities and rural areas alike.
Come with your questions. Whether you're weighing your first move or troubleshooting a project that's already underway, there will be time to work through real obstacles during Q&A.
Thursday, August 20 at 12pm ET. 45-minute talk, followed by live Q&A.
Already thinking about starting something in your own neighborhood? Bring a friend who'd want to co-lead it with you.
Ready to bring this to your community? Check out our newly renovated Community Activities page for projects that have worked for others, from beginner to advanced.
