About This Event

Homesteads for Hope invites you to join us for the Bicentennial Jam on the Canal, a full-day music festival marking 200 years of the Erie Canal and the 200th anniversary of our historic farmhouse.

This day-long event will feature:

  • Live music from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM on two stages, showcasing a diverse lineup of local and regional artists.

  • Food trucks offering a variety of meals, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages.

  • Craft vendors and other non-profits from across the region.

  • A curated beer and wine wagon with selections from local breweries and wineries.

  • All-ages activities throughout the day, designed for families, kids, and community members of all abilities.

Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets for comfort. However, unlike our other events, there is NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK PERMITTED, LEAVE THE COOLERS AT HOME.

This is more than just a music festival—it’s a chance to recognize the historical significance of the Erie Canal, which transformed trade, travel, and agriculture in New York State, and helped shape the farmland that Homesteads for Hope now grows.

Whether you’re coming for the music, the history, or the community, we welcome you to celebrate this bicentennial milestone with us.

This is a pay-what-you-can event, with a suggested donation of $10 per person or $20 per family at the door.

Parking:

  • $20 Premier Parking Access for On-Site Parking
  • Free Accessible Parking
  • Free Shuttle to Off-site parking: Details TBA
