About This Event
Our Howl-oween shirt drop includes x-rays of actual animals that once called Watauga Humane Society home. Featured in the shirts are Stilts, the cat, and Legacy Southpaw, the dog. Both were in need of major medical attention when we took them in. It's expensive, complicated, and heartbreaking to see and treat the painful injuries of animals we help every day.
Both Stilts and Southpaw no longer feel any pain, and now they get to spend their days living their best lives, AND helping raise money for Watauga Humane Society in the most unique way possible- having their bones on display in tee-shirt form!
Each year we spend more than $200,000 on medical care for animals at Watauga Humane Society. So we thought, "what a better way to help cover our medical expenses than to use the injuries we see as a fashion statement?" When we tested the look of the shirts, all of our staff and volunteers said one thing: "we have to make this happen!"
From now until September 24th, you can pre-order your shirt with a $5 discount and pickup at the adoption center on October 1st, just in time for spooky season!
