This reading is in conjunction with Christy Hengst's exhibition Traces: Known and Un-Known
An intimate reading by award-winning poet, author, and Zen teacher Henry Shukman. The Spiritual Director Emeritus of Mountain Cloud Zen Center in Santa Fe, Shukman is a teacher in the Sanbo Zen lineage whose poetry has appeared in The New Yorker, The Guardian, and London Review of Books. His background in Zen meditation provides a natural thematic bridge to Hengst's meditative approach to artmaking (henryshukman.com).
