As we navigate the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, the devastation has greatly impacted many in our community. Families have been displaced, schools have been affected, and students are in urgent need of assistance. Now, more than ever, we are calling on our community to unite and support our students and schools as they work to recover.
The Henderson County Education Foundation is stepping up to assist Henderson County Public Schools in their recovery efforts. Many of our students and schools have been directly impacted, and we are reaching out to request your help in providing immediate support.
We are deeply grateful for the generous donations of food, water, and other essential items that have already been received—your kindness has made a real difference. At this time, however, the most urgent needs are clothing and shoes for our students. Monetary donations will allow us to quickly purchase these items and ensure all contributions directly benefit those in need.
