About our Entertainers and Emcee
Michael Stirrett
Michael is our music anchor and has been gracing I-REACH 2, Inc. events with his talents for many years. His love for music began early in life when he received a piano from his grandparents for Christmas. Amazingly, he exhibits evidence of having the gift of perfect pitch, which helps him tune his guitar by ear. He has been a guest performer for many local bands and has written many original songs.
Jana Hanni
Jana Hanni is a violinist, educator, and private instructor with more than thirty years of experience teaching violin and piano. In addition to maintaining a successful private studio for more than three decades, Jana taught violin at the Sites Violin Shop in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where she studied with Grand Master and National Fiddle Champion Jacie Sites. She has earned awards in fiddle competitions throughout Idaho and Utah and has served in numerous music education programs in Utah and Colorado. As a performer, Jana has appeared as a featured violin soloist for the annual Easter Cantata written and produced by Sally DeFord and has been featured on Ms. DeFord’s professional recordings. She currently performs as a section violinist with the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra and the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra.
Jaxon Cox
Jaxon Cox is a talented musician currently studying at the University of Denver to achieve his master's degree in music performance and Suzuki pedagogy certification. He earned a bachelor's in music performance at the University of Wyoming and hopes to continue his education after his studies at DU to receive a doctorate in music. Outside of school, Jaxon plays with several symphonies around Wyoming including the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra. In his spare time he writes and arranges music for the cello including pop music, classical music, and hymns. Many arrangements can be found on his YouTube channel aptly named Big Awkward Guitar. He also loves the outdoors, often hiking and camping within any mountain range he can get to.
Prairie Wife in Heels – Cathy Holman
Prairie Wife (Cathy Holman) is a city girl from Milwaukee who went country, all for the love of a cowboy. She now lives in the middle of nowhere Wyoming with five children, two dogs, four horses, a mini mule, a couple of steers and pigs, and a constantly changing number of chickens and cats. She began PrairieWifeInHeels.com in 2013 to offer support to other women, wives, and mothers. As a media personality, Prairie Wife continues to spread her message of grit and grace through social media content, speaking engagements, and leadership workshops across Wyoming. She is also a popular radio, TV, and Podcast guest who has emceed and auctioneered at over one hundred events.
