I Be Black Girl serves as a collective for Black women, femmes and girls to actualize their full potential to authentically be, through autonomy, abundance and liberation.

In honor of the resilience of Anarcha Wescott, one of the mothers of gynecology, and to confront the lasting legacy of medical racism on Black women, femmes, and girls, I Be Black Girl has proudly named our home the Anarcha Center. The center stands in honor of those not only robbed of their bodily autonomy and freedom but as a guidepost as we dream, demand and radical reimagine more for ourselves and community. We invite the community to join us in building a brighter future for Black women by including a piece of yourselves or loved ones in this process. At the $250 giving level, donors will have a custom brick placed in the Anarcha Center Courtyard. This brick does not have to be in memory of someone but rather can encompass any person that you want to honor and uplift .
