2026 IBBGives Mixer & Information Session

About This Event

Join us for an evening of connection, learning, and community as we gather for the 2026 I Be Black Girl Gives (IBBGives) Mixer & Information Session!

This event is an opportunity to learn more about I Be Black Girl (IBBG) and IBBGives, Nebraska’s first giving circle created by and for Black women and femmes.

IBBGives is a philanthropic platform that creates opportunities for collective giving and community-led decision-making.

During the session, we’ll share the vision behind IBBGives, how participatory grantmaking works, and how community members can help shape where resources are invested.

What to Expect

  • An overview of IBBG and IBBGives
  • Information about the 2026 IBBGives grant cycle
  • What it means to become an IBBGives Voting Member
  • How collective giving builds community power
  • Time to connect with current members and prospective participants

Attendees are encouraged to invite up to three guests who may be interested in learning more about IBBGives and collective giving in Nebraska. When registering, please include the names of any guests attending with you.

We hope you’ll join us to build relationships, ask questions, and be part of a growing movement toward values-aligned, community-driven philanthropy.

Media Release By registering for this event, you acknowledge and consent to the use of any photographs or video of you in IBBG promotional materials, including but not limited to print, website, and social media. Red stickers will be available on-site for attendees who prefer not to be included in media.
