Your healthcare. Your voice. Your birth. Join IBBG for an empowering conversation with Dr. Sharee Livingston, a leading advocate for women’s health, collaborative care, and patient self-advocacy.

As Medical Director of Lebanon Valley Midwifery and Women’s Wellness, Chair of the Ob/Gyn Department at UPMC Lititz, Founding Board Member of Patients R Waiting, and Co-Founder of the Diversifying Doulas Initiative, Dr. Livingston brings a powerful perspective on what happens when patients, doulas, midwives, and physicians work together.

Participants will gain practical strategies to speak up, ask questions, understand their options, and advocate for themselves throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Whether you're preparing for your own journey or supporting someone you love, this conversation will leave you feeling more informed, confident, and empowered.

What you’ll experience:

  • Practical tools for navigating the perinatal healthcare system
  • Strategies for effective self-advocacy
  • Insight into collaborative care and the role of doulas and midwives
  • An opportunity to learn directly from a respected maternal health leader
  • Refreshments provided!

Come ready to ask questions, build confidence, and claim your voice in your healthcare journey.
