We are excited to invite you to a special afternoon of fun, food, and community as we celebrate Black Maternal Health Week with a heartwarming, family-friendly event. On Saturday, April 12th, from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM, come out for the 2nd Annual Heart, Sole, & Roll Community 5K: Healing Legacies, featuring a 1-mile option for those who prefer a shorter route.

This year, we’ve teamed up with SHERO for the "Baddies with Babies BBQ & Easter Egg Hunt"—a perfect blend of wellness, celebration, and community connection. The event will take place in the heart of North Omaha, starting at 2306 N 24th Street, and winding along the beautiful North Omaha Trail.

Event Highlights:

  • I Be Black Girl's Heart, Sole, & Role Walk/Run from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM.
  • DJ & Live Performances to keep the energy high throughout the day.
  • Collaborative Easter Egg Hunt with SHERO from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, right after the walk/run.
  • Free BBQ for all attendees.
  • Prizes and giveaways throughout the event.
  • A Free Photo Booth to capture your memories.
