A commitment to wildlife, community, and a healthier environment.

Wings of Iowa, A Celebration of Birds, is a way for us to bring awareness of the importance of wild birds and celebrate their place in Iowa. We are looking for 16 sponsors to make our 3rd gala even more amazing.

There are 4 levels with gala tickets included, marketing and visibility from mid December 2025 through mid March 2026. Help us make the 2026 experience a fun and exciting fundraiser for Iowa Bird Rehabilitation as we expanded and grow to meet the need of our community.

  • Event Date: March 7, 2026
  • Location: The Monroe, West Des Moines
  • Ticket access and announcement will begin in December
  • Media and outreach over 3 months

A strong foundation of support for 2026 will allow us to continue our daily care efforts while advancing our plans to strengthen our educational outreach, launch new programming and grow our conservation partnerships. Join us to make a difference.

Iowa Bird Rehabilitation (IBR), located in Des Moines, Iowa, is a wildlife rehabilitation center dedicated to the care of songbirds, waterfowl, game birds, shorebirds, and small raptors. As the only organization of its kind in central Iowa, IBR provides unique benefits to both the community and the environment. To date, we have admitted over 16,000 birds, with an average increase of 25% annually. IBR also offers education, enrichment, and volunteer opportunities to people of all ages with an interest in avian conservation, while providing valuable assistance, education, and guidance to a growing number of Iowans who care deeply about our state’s wildlife.
