Presented by Down Syndrome Foundation of Florida

iCan! Communicate 2025-2026

About This Event

iCan! Communicate

iCan! Communicate is an innovative, evidence-based program designed for children with Down syndrome who are developing language and communication skills. Offered to members of the Down Syndrome Foundation of Florida from birth to age 4, this program provides families and professionals with tools, strategies, and hands-on support to unlock each child’s communication potential. The classes will provide research based instruction and tools to use at home to help develop communication skills. In addition to learning communication skills, participants will be evaluated for augmentative communication devices in the spring and have the opportunity to participate in a summer workshop to customize the devices and learn how to use them as a bridge to expressive language.  Visit our website https://dsfflorida.org/ican-communicate-1  to learn more about the relaunch of this program.
