Presented by Down Syndrome Foundation of Florida

2023 iCan! Pickleball

About This Event

Join The FOUNDATION and the latest sport CRAZE- Pickleball!

This is the fastest growing sport EVER and a great activity for Floridians to play year round!

Pickleball players (who are called picklers) use light paddles and low-bouncing plastic balls on smaller courts. It is easy to play regardless of athletic ability. A smaller court and shorter net create a more sociable, leisurely, and affordable game. Pickleball is beloved because it is such a versatile and accessible game. This is a sport that those who want to give it a try can easily pick up.

Pickleball will be a six week program for members age 14 and older. Classes will be held at the Dover Shores Community Center from 6 pm to 7:30 pm

2023 Dates:

  • Monday, October 9
  • Monday, October 16
  • Monday, October 23
  • Monday, October 30
  • Monday, November 6
  • Monday, November 13

A big thank you to the Burnes Family for hosting iCan! Pickleball!
