**Step Into History with (Un)Known Project’s New Augmented Reality App: “Footprints Through Time”**

Join us for the exciting launch of *Footprints Through Time*, an innovative augmented reality (AR) and hologram experience developed in collaboration with Collimation and MindWise. This groundbreaking project brings history to life at four significant sites, including three in the Louisville, KY area and one in South Carolina.

**Public Launch Event:**  
*Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 11 AM ET*  
(Location: (Un)Known Project’s On the Banks of Freedom and In Our Elders’ Footprints installations along the Louisville Riverwalk)

**Directions**

Take Main St. west, turn right on 10th, drive past the floodwall and into the parking lot OR park along 10th St. You can also access it within a block by parking in the Science Center Parking Lot.

**About the Experience:**

In this immersive AR journey, you’ll step into the shoes of Sam, Isaac’s best friend, as they walk through the heart of history. When Isaac’s great-great-grandmother, Lula, appears, she reveals powerful stories of enslavement and resilience. Together, you’ll witness the environment transform, uncovering vivid, untold truths about the Transatlantic Slave Trade and its lasting impact.

Through this engaging and interactive narrative, participants are guided on a journey to uncover America’s deeper, more complex history that often goes unspoken.
