Asking ourselves what is at stake for a time such as this is not only necessary, but also a spiritual responsibility. When suffering and oppression continue to marginalize our friends, relatives, neighbors, and communities, we must ask ourselves the deeper questions which will animate our hearts with freedom and courage in order to be agents of change.

Join the ISC for conversation and reflection time with social justice leader and advocate for change, Sr. Susan Francois, CSJP. Sr. Susan will guide us into the call to become Contemplatives in (Political) Action as we empower one another to respond with love during this season of midterm elections.

This two-part reflection, one before and one after the election, is for anyone who is seeking a space to pray, reflect, discern, and act upon a call to deepen their political engagement for the Common Good. Those who register will receive access to the Zoom recording.
