At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida, we believe every child deserves a caring mentor, a trusted role model, and someone who helps them see what is possible for their future.

For 50 years, we have created and supported one-to-one mentoring relationships that help young people build confidence, strengthen relationships, improve academic outcomes, and stay connected to positive opportunities across Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties.

Mentorship is more than a program. It is essential community infrastructure. When a young person has a caring adult in their corner, the impact can ripple through their family, school, future workplace, and community.

National research shows that Big Brothers Big Sisters Littles are 20% more likely to enroll in college, earn 15% more over their lifetime, and help close two-thirds of the economic gap compared to their non-mentored peers. Research also shows that Littles are 46% less likely to begin using illegal drugs, 27% less likely to begin using alcohol, and 52% less likely to skip school.
