Jamie Lee Hopkins

June 9, 1974 - June 30, 2026

Jamie Lee Hopkins passed away unexpectedly at his home in Mount Sterling, Kentucky on June 30, 2026, due to complications related to Addison's Disease. Despite his health struggles, Jamie's life was filled with quality time with his ever-growing family, building or repairing anything his hands could find, tending to his garden in the summers, canning over fires in the fall, and watching all types of wrestling with his friends year round. Affectionately known as Bub and Uncle Bub, Jamie was a dedicated husband of his wife for 26 years, a loving younger brother, a proud father to two sons and the fun uncle and great uncle of many. He recently celebrated the marriages of his two sons. He witnessed both sons begin to create wonderful lives using the values of perseverance, determination and grit that he instilled in them from an early age—the same values he continued to uphold during his long battle with Addison's Disease. At only 52 years of age, Jamie had many more memories to make, but we know he walks with us through the chapters left unread.

Jamie leaves behind a loving family and many friends and will be missed forever. His family hopes for further medical research into the treatment and possible cure of adrenal diseases, so less families experience the loss of their loved ones far too soon.
