From Kathy's Family

A mom – A sister – A grandma – A friend to many – A dog lover – An amazing woman who is dearly missed!

DaRosa, Kathleen (Kathy) Faye passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the age of 76. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Robert F. “Bubba” DaRosa and her parents Lois Clare Fitch and John Jason Jackson. She will forever be missed by her children Jacob Christopher DaRosa and Lindsay Clare-Ann DaRosa who were her pride and joy. She will also forever be missed by her sister-in-law Patricia Tancredy (Joe), daughter in love, Cari Cahill and her sister Beth Jackson. She will forever be missed by her five grandchildren – Heather, Rebecca, Sydney, Riley and Bradley. She is missed by her lovely labs, Bambi and Juliette.

Kathy was born in Vallejo, CA. and lived most of her life in Sacramento, CA. She met the love of her life, Bob DaRosa, in high school and they were married for 44 years until his passing in 2017. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in her 20’s but eventually worked in the public sector (State of CA) for 32 years, before retiring from the Secretary of State office. She loved all of her amazing friends, especially her sister from another mister, Peggy Duncan and her “cuzzy” Jo Valine. She loved traveling, shopping, laughing, going to the casino, meeting up with her card club group and participating with her Bible study group. She always had a good time no matter where she was or who she was with. She supported both Jake and Lindsay’s fundraising efforts and gave to many charities throughout her entire life. She was always there for you if you needed anything at all. When you met Kathy, you hit the jackpot and were blessed for life!

This page is to remember Kathleen Faye Jackson DaRosa for being such an amazing person to all of us. We will never forget her! Adrenal gland cancer is a very rare, aggressive, and terminal cancer, and ultimately took Kathy’s life.  I hope you consider donating any dollar amount to the National Adrenal Diseases Foundation so that much needed research can be done so hopefully this cancer does not exist one day. All donations are tax deductible. I appreciate all of your support!

 xoxo Lindsay DaRosa
