Living In Motion is a FREE event designed for people living with Parkinson’s disease to explore the importance of exercise and discover valuable community resources.
Presented by InMotion®, the event features demonstrations of InMotion’s evidence-based wellness programs, as well as a keynote speaker with expertise in the field of Parkinson's disease. Attendees can learn from professionals in social work, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and receive information about treatment options for Parkinson’s disease. Living In Motion is a great opportunity to empower individuals and families with the knowledge to live well with Parkinson’s.

Jay L. Alberts, Ph.D., is Vice Chair of Innovations at the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute and holds the “Edward F. and Barbara A. Bell Family Endowed Chair”. He also serves as Medical Director of the Brain and Body Program and has a faculty appointment at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Alberts’ research focuses on improving motor and cognitive function in neurological conditions, especially Parkinson’s disease, through innovative therapies and technology. He has worked extensively in the development of exercise programs for individuals with Parkinson’s disease, and founded Pedaling for Parkinson’s, now offered in 150+ community locations. Dr. Alberts has authored 150+ publications, has been continuously funded by the NIH since 1998, and currently leads multiple major research studies.
