Welcome to the 2024-2025 CHIME Fund Drive

Each year, we reach out to our CHIME Charter families to help support our CHIME Fund. The CHIME Fund is the best way to support your child's education and allows the organization to continue the development and delivery of a quality inclusive education experience to over 800 children each year.

We are asking that 100% of our families make a gift of any size to the CHIME Fund

Why 100%? This shows our community that, together, we are investing in our children's education. Plus, many sizable grants are only available to schools with high community involvement and participation. Having 100% of CHIME families giving will help us open the door to more funding, allowing our children to thrive with a fully-funded education here at CHIME. 

Do I have to wait until September 9 to give? No, and we encourage you to make a gift today. All funds raised from July 1 – September 8 will be counted towards the CHIME Fund Drive and any competitions. That includes any existing monthly donations you may already have in place.

Did You Know...

Did you know that CHIME’s Schwarzenegger Community School is not a LAUSD school? We are an independent charter school, which means we are not funded in the same way as LAUSD schools. Each year, we have an approximately $1,250 per student gap in funding. We make up for the difference through grants and parent donations. That’s where the CHIME Fund and you come in.

What does your donation support?

  • Individualized support for students.
  • Keeping low adult/student ratios.
  • Staffing highly trained teachers.
  • Funding our excellent library, P.E., art, music, and elective programs, providing your student with weekly enrichment classes.
  • Offsetting our operational costs to hlep us provide competitive salaries for our teachers and paraprofessionals.

Does Your Company Match?

Matching gifts are a great way to increase your gift. Many companies have a matching gift program and we recommend you reach out to your employer or HR Department to see if they’ll match your gift.  Another win-win for our kids!

Classoom Competition

We all love a friendly competition, especially when it supports our school. Once again, the competitions will be geared towards classroom participation, with a goal of 100% participation.

How Will My Child Get Credit for My Donation?

When making a donation, be sure to select the box that reads "I would like to credit my gift to a student". Be sure to put their name and grade as indicated. If you have more than one student at the school, please list them all and we'll make sure they all get credit.
