Join us for a beautiful fall evening of music, community, and purpose at An Evening Under the Stars, benefiting InterFaith Health Center.
This year, singer-songwriter Emily Wyrick takes the stage for a special tribute to Tennessee’s own Dolly Parton, an artist whose music has been woven into Emily’s life since childhood.
Emily’s connection to Dolly is more than musical. When Emily was just seven or eight years old, Dolly came to her family’s Lakeside Studios to record with Emily’s father, producer Travis Wyrick. For a little girl who knew Dolly as a superstar, having her suddenly walk into the place where her dad worked was an unforgettable moment.
But the connection goes back even further. Emily’s great-grandmother, country singer Alma Ray, once shared the stage with Dolly. From her great-grandmother performing alongside her, to her father working with her in the studio, to Emily now honoring her music onstage, it’s a uniquely Tennessee story spanning three generations.
Set beneath the stars at the beautiful Lakeshore Park Amphitheater, the evening will celebrate the songs and spirit of Dolly Parton while supporting InterFaith Health Center and our work to provide accessible, affordable healthcare to our neighbors in need.
