Event Details:

You will receive an overview of Parkinson's disease (PD) including motor and non-motor symptoms and treatment options.  You will learn which symptoms may be improved through exercise and wellness activities and about local activities and resources that may help improve quality of life for you and your care partners. 

Instructor Spotlight:  Dr. Lynn Struck, Grand Living and APDA Iowa

Dr. Struck is the Medical Director for the Iowa Chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association. She completed a fellowship in Movement Disorders & Botulinum Toxin Infections and is board certified from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. In addition to her re-search and written articles, she has made presentations to support groups, medical pro-fessional groups, and conferences on a variety of topics related to Parkinson’s Disease.
