PRESS ON™ is a FREE eight-week education and support program for those who have been living with Parkinson’s disease (PD) for five or more years and their care partners.
This 8-week program offers you and your loved ones PD support, education and resources to help you along your PD journey. Conducted in small groups, the format allows for in-depth and personalized discussions.
PD-focused session topics include:
- The Road Here
- Healthcare in PD
- Safety, Environment, Exercise
- Mood, Cognition, Behavior
- Impact on Daily Coping and Relationships
- Planning for the What-Ifs
- Caring for Others, Caring for Yourself
- Maintaining Hope on the Path Forward
Program Details:
- Each group will consist of up to 10-12 participants.
- Individuals diagnosed with Parkinson’s 5 or more years ago and care partners looking for continued support.
- Participants must commit to the 8 sessions and make every effort to complete the program, engage and share.
- All participants must be screened by the facilitator to participate.
- Each session will be 1.5 hours each week for 8 weeks.
