About This Event

Front Porch Party - 5pm

Concert in the Park - 6pm

Our annual major fundraising event -- this year featuring The Finestkind with Joshua Eden and Kenya Hall

Join us for the Front Porch Party with drinks and nibbles starting at 5pm, then we'll gather in Community Park for the concert starting at 6pm. Bring your own blanket or chairs, snacks and beverages.

The Finestkind’s soulful sounds resonate out of Maine’s rocky coast, from gritty Low-Tide Funk to inspirational Evergreen Roots. Raised on Vinalhaven in a home full of artists, writers and musicians, Joshua Eden began his musical journey early as a toddler by climbing into a tuba. Now based in California, Joshua returned home to Maine to record his most recent album, Rust and Sand, to collaborate with his younger brother, Dan Boyden, drummer, producer and founder of Finestkind Music. The band is joined by Kenya Hall, whose musical artistry weaves together indomitable vocals with a fierce blend of soul and funk delivered with a rare energy that leaves every audience she sings to better for having been a part of it.
