About This Event

Join us for a special opportunity to meet one of Israel’s brilliant minds at the forefront of the fight against cancer. In a “Ted Talk” style format, Professor Grolman will discuss what he’s up to both in and out of the lab, share how ICRF nurtures the next generation of scientific leaders, and reflect on what life is like in Israel in the aftermath of October 7th.

Hosted by Stefanie and David Ochs (ICRF CT Board Member)

JOSHUA GROLMAN, PhD
The Dr. Jerry Gross Memorial Research Career Development Award Recipient
Technion, Israel Institute of Technology

Professor Grolman’s research, supported by ICRF, allows him and his team the capabilities to develop next-generation 3D imaging tools, laying the groundwork for a better understanding of how the immune system interacts with cancerous tissue. This is being studied specifically within the context of preterm births and cancer. Learn more about his work here.

When not in the lab, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, Leah and Chaim. He’s also an avid cyclist, aspiring chef, and woodworker.
