This event is designed to be a welcoming, low-pressure introduction for families exploring alternatives to conventional schooling. We’ll share an overview of homeschooling in Pennsylvania, unpack the philosophy and practice of unschooling, and offer a clear look at how Open Connections supports young folks and families within that framework.

You’ll hear about the range of programs we offer, and the ways this philosophy nurtures curiosity, and how the community support offers meaningful connection. There will be plenty of time for questions, conversation, and honest discussion about what this path can look like! We will talk about it all, including both the freedom and the responsibility it brings.

Whether you’re just beginning to explore homeschooling or already on the journey and looking for community, this session is a chance to learn, connect, and imagine what’s possible.
