Conly Greer Birthday Celebration and Barn Opening

Join us to celebrate the 143rd birthday of Conly Greer, who spent over forty years farming the land that would become Ivy Creek!

Enjoy birthday refreshments while learning about Conly Greer's many contributions to the area as the county’s first Black agricultural extension agent and a community leader. Then come along as we explore the farmhouse he helped raise a family in and the historic dairy barn he built. Honor his legacy as an educator by engaging with the natural and agricultural exhibits in the open barn! Fun for all ages.
