Daily Acts invites you to an interactive, neighborhood-based community input session focused on:

Reimagining the Rain in Corona/Capri Creek

About This Community Input Session

What would it look like if our neighborhoods were designed to work with and welcome water instead of sending it away?

As a part of our Harvest the Rain Pilot Program, Daily Acts is inviting Petaluma community members who live near or are frequent visitors in the Corona/Capri Creek area to REIMAGINE THE RAIN by attending an interactive, neighborhood-based community input session.

Join this Community Input Session to:

  • Help us understand your experience with stormwater
  • Learn from local experts in our community
  • Connect with your neighbors over FREE dinner
  • Provide feedback on DIY rain garden and curb cut templates
  • Enter a gift card drawing for local businesses

During the session, we'll discuss how we can work with rainwater to build resilient neighborhoods. We’ll hear from you to learn where you’ve noticed water pooling in your neighborhood, and explore whether those places are creating challenges, or if they could be the beginning of an opportunity to work with water in an exciting new way! We will also gather your feedback on the rain garden and curb-cut landscape templates we’re developing (see example images below).

lf you live near or frequent Corona/Capri Creek,
we want to hear from you!

Come share your observations, what you’d like to see in your neighborhood, and any questions, excitement or concerns you may have about this pilot program.
We hope to see you there!

About Our Harvest the Rain Program

When rain falls on roofs, streets and sidewalks, it can travel quickly across hard surfaces, carrying pollution into our creeks and waterways and overwhelming storm drains. But, when we slow it, spread it, and give it places to sink, that same water can hydrate our landscapes, replenish soil and groundwater, and help grow beautiful plants that provide habitat and shade in our neighborhoods.

Daily Acts launched the Harvest the Rain Pilot Program to explore cost-effective green stormwater solutions, including curb cuts and rain gardens, and identify ways to make these projects easier to implement in our neighborhoods.
