The Thompson S. Baker Award recognizes individuals who have dedicated themselves to bettering our community through leadership, hands-on involvement, and philanthropic deeds. The annual award celebrates our local heroes who have positively influenced business and education in the Jacksonville community. Since 1997, this prestigious annual award has been named for Thompson S. Baker, the founder of Florida Rock Industries who unselfishly contributed to the betterment of our community.
