JA Inspire unites educators and local business leaders in Southwest Florida. It’s designed for employers who need a pool of motivated workers. It gives students a real-world way to envision future career opportunities through a pre-event curriculum and a career exploration event.
At the career event, students will engage with local business volunteers and participate in hands-on activities, often using actual equipment or tools their employees use on the job. The students learn what certain jobs entail and begin to imagine their futures in the context of these career opportunities. Your business can actively participate and prepare the workforce of tomorrow.
In addition to inspiring 8th and 10th grade students, exhibitors will also have the opportunity to engage with 11th and 12th grade students to inform them about apprenticeships, internships and job opportunities within their organization.
